Honeywell International received a $5 million contract from the U.S. Airforce to repair planes
Honeywell International, Arizona’s 15th largest employer with 9,500 people, will assist the U.S. Airforce in repairing B-1 Bombers.
The Phoenix Business Journal reports:
“The work will be done in Tempe and Phoenix…New Jersey-based Honeywell has its aerospace division based in Phoenix and also has manufacturing centers in Glendale and Tempe.”
Honeywell spokesperson Steve Brecken said,
This is work with the USAF to repair their B-1 Lancer’s auxiliary repair units. All the repair work will be completed here in Phoenix at our military repair and overhaul center.
