Construction Industry Loves Red AZ

Arizona’s right-to-work laws and other friendly business project related rules bring Arizona to first place for business and management friendly policies related to the construction industry, reports Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC).

According to the Phoenix Business Journal:

ABC ranks Arizona first among the U.S. states in its business friendly scorecard.

Arizona gets ‘A’ grades when it comes to not having a prevailing wage rule for construction jobs and right-to-work statutes that help employers and sometimes hurt unions.

It’s 16.3 percent in California, 31.3 percent in New York and 32.8 percent in Alaska, according to the ABC.

Second and third place go to Louisiana and Virginia, respectively.
