Kiplinger, personal finance publication, released rankings for September
Kiplinger, a personal finance and business forecast publication, released its list of the top tax-friendly states in the US. Arizona came in seventh beating New Mexico, Nevada and South Carolina.
The Phoenix Business Journal Reports:
Arizona fares well compared with Texas and Colorado, two of its main economic development rivals. California jockeys with New York and Illinois as the least tax-friendly states.
Taxes are definitely attractive to businesses looking for states in which to operate, but site selection consultants told the Phoenix Business Journal during interviews over the past few weeks that workforce, quality of life and education are more important.
